Principal's Message

On behalf of the students and staff, welcome to Baker Elementary School, the home of the soaring EAGLES! Thank you for visiting our website.  Baker is a school that celebrates student success in a safe, nurturing and positive environment.  We strive for excellence with a continued focus on student achievement for all children. This is made possible through the collaborative efforts of our dedicated staff, our supportive parents, our involved community and our outstanding students.

 Our conscientious staff works hard to ensure we provide the best educational experience possible for each child every day.  Our teachers meet weekly to discuss student progress, instructional strategies and current best practices in education. We take great pride in the fact that we model how to be life long learners for our students each and everyday as we grow professionally as educators. In addition to their collegial planning and professional goals, all teachers at Baker Elementary meet the state standards as Highly Qualified.

Perhaps our greatest strength is our students.  We currently serve approximately 556 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 5 ^th grade. Children i n Prosper ISD have consistently met national and state requirements established by the No Child Left Behind Act..  In addition to academic achievements, students participate in a number of activities to showcase their talents and interests.  Chess Club, Cup Stacking, U.I.L, Student Council and Safety Patrol are just a few of the offerings.
